Happy Mothers Day

It's time to get that card made for a very special lady...mom of course! Doreen chose "Big Flowers Pattern" a  Hero Arts acrylic set for this bright and fun card. Paper is from Pebbles Inc. The flower was stamped, colored with Copic Markers and then cut out to place on the card. A button in the center adds the perfect finishing touch. "Happy Mothers Day" verse is from Amuse.

Card 10 - Birthday

..........a fun birthday card created by Sally!   I think the stamp is from Whipper Snapper.....  (I didn't get all the details......)
Sally used Copic markers to color the bear.

Card 9 - Relax

This card would be great for Father's Day!
The stamp is from Northwoods with a verse from AMuse.
Judy used a marker watercolor technique to color the image. The little hook is bent from a tiny paper clipl.

Card 8 - Wedding

I love the soft colors of this wedding card.  The lace edged square was cut with Spellbinders Fair Isle die set.  created by Doreen

Card 7 - Two Cute Baby cards

Aren't these cute?
Stamps for these 2 cards are from Darcie's stamps.
Doreen designed these cards.

(yes, she's been really busy!)

Card 6 - Anniversary

Doreen created this pretty anniversary card!   The stamp is from a new company called Stamp A Vie.  They have some wonderful people stamps!

Card 5 - Just Because

Doreen was inspired by a card we saw in the Spellbinders booth at CHA this past January when she created this card.  It's such a pretty card!
Stamps are from JustRite.  The scallops and circle were cut with Spellbinders dies.

Card 4 - Spring Floral

The stamps for this card are from Penny Black.
The colorful background was created with Brilliance inks rubbed onto white paper. My photo didn't really capture the color or sparkle very well.
A new spray from Tsukineko called Shimmer Spritz was sprayed over the flowers a beautiful sparkle.

The original design of this card was created by Elizabeth Allan, a friend of mine who's a talented stamper and writer.  I simply chose different colors for Spring!

Good Morning!!! Workshop Day has arrived!

First of all, I want to apologize for NOT giving sneak peaks this year.......I totally forgot.  so sorry!

Here's what you've been waiting for if you couldn't come to the workshop.........all the project photos.
Watch for added details......I'm just writing what I remember.  I don't have all the exact details.

.......a little pokey
created by Doreen

This card features making a custom ink pad with dye reinkers.  The turtle shell was stamped with the a pad made just for it.  It's a great technique to get mutltiple colors on a mostly solid stamp.
