On the Prairie

Greetings Fond Memories fans!

It's been awhile since I've written here. Looking back, I can't exactly say what took all my time. I know I had a couple weekends spent with family........a very good reason not to have time to blog! Today, I had a chance to take some photos at the store. With luck, I'll get them all loaded tonight so there will be new posts for the rest of this week. Yeah!!!

To start off, here's a couple cards featuring stamps from a Cornish Heritage Farms set called "The Homestead". We love this set because it so depicts pieces of scenery that seem to be snatched from the countryside surrounding Walnut Grove. The little girl could easily be Laura Ingalls as she walked to or from school. Can you just imagine it?

Butterfly Kisses

Happy Birthday To You....

This is a card that I recently created for Kathy for her birthday.

The stamp is called Coneflower from Serendipity Stamps. I used the new copic markers (E31, Y11, Y15, Y38 & YG03) to color the image which I stamped in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink.

The flowers & vase are colored with Copic markers. The stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms. Papers are from My Mind's Eye Penny Lane collection. Verse stamp is from Penny Black.

Another Crafty Secrets Garden Girls card!

This scene was created with 4 of the stamps all aligned on one block & stamped at once. Easy! The color from the stamped lines is spread over the image with a water brush. The edge punch is Arc Lattice from Martha Stewart. A little silk ribbon finishes off the design.

A vintage birthday card!

Isn't this little girl sweet? The stamp is from Garden Girls by Crafty Secrets. It's a wonderful set of vintage images.

The embossed frame is from Tattered Angels sprayed with Cherry Limeade Glimmer Mist. I rubbed Vintage Photo ink over it. The edge punch is Double Scallop from Martha Stewart. The lace and silk ribbon fit in so well with the vintage frame. Copic markers were used to color the girl.

Here's a cute Spring card!

The stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms. Doreen used a Spellbinders oval die to cut the window in the Bazzill Swiss Dot mat. She used Copic markers to color the image.

What a quick set of notecards! Just add a little glue and sprinkle on Flower Soft to these printed cards. Dianne added a stamped verse using a little Technique Tuesday set.

Dianne created this card using another Thomas Kinkade stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms. The dimension on the little flowers showcases a new product at Fond Memories, Flower Soft. This product is so easy to add to any design, a little bit of glue & sprinkle on the Flower Soft.

Just imagine the possibilities!

We're down to the last details!
Yesterday, all the project stations were set up at the Community Center. We also worked on setting up the "store"......all the products for the workshop are available to purchase at the Community Center. Some of the demonstrators came to make the cards & learn how to teach their project. Others will stop in today.
