 Crazy Cat Card
Supplies:Tim Holtz Crazy Cats stamps Tim Holtz Crazy Talk stamps Distress Crayons 47919 Tim Holtz Mini Stencils Set 4 Sizzix Crazy Cats Framelits Distress Inks: Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass Versafine Onyx Black

Bazzil Pansy card stock – 4 1⁄4 x 5 1⁄2” card Orange Fizz card stock –3 3/4 x 4 7/8” Solar White card stock – 3 1/2 x 4 5/8 “ Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares Text weight paper – 3 3⁄4 x 4 7/8”
Directions:
1. 2. 3. 4. and continue applying ink. Fasten to card 5.    Stamp cat and yarn on white card stock 6.    Scribble Rusty Hinge crayon on cat stripes and shadow area. Use brush with water to spread crayon color. Scribble Fossilized Amber crayon over cat. Use brush with water to blend colors. Repeat until cat is desired color. Add touch of green or blue to eyes. Add pink to nose and inner ears
Form card with purple card stock. Fasten orange mat to card Sponge Tumbled Glass ink over white card stock Place stencil over it. Apply Shaded Lilac ink through stencil. Move stencil, match pattern
7.    Color yarn with Festive Berries and blend with water 8.    Die cut cat and yarn. 9.    Fasten cat and yarn to card with 3 D Foam Squares 10.    Stamp verse with Onyx Black ink
11.    Stamp “sorry” with black ink on white card stock. Trim around it. Fasten to card with 3D Foam Squares 12.    Use Festive Berries and Chipped Sapphire crayons to add color around edges. Blend with water.
Tip: Distress Crayons are water reactive wax. They dry quickly on paper. Work with small areas at a time for better color blending.

Dimensions: White cardstock 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" & 1" X 4 1/4" Berrylicious(blue) 4" X 5 1/4" Plaid paper 3 7/8" X 5 1/8" Large circle out of green cardstock Small circle out of white cardstock
Directions: 1. Using black ink, stamp the image into the center of the white circle. Color the image using Prismacolor pencils. Blend colors with the Dove blender. 2. Create the "bump it up" effect by following the manufactures directions. This will create dimension to the stamped image. Add glossy accents onto the goggles of the little boy and the puppy. Set aside to dry. 3. Using black ink, stamp the greeting onto the white cardstock strip. Fly high to the left and It's your special day! to the right. 4. Fold white card base in half and mount the light blue cardstock piece onto the card front. Mount the plaid paper on top of the light blue cardstock. Mount the white cardstock strip with the greeting about 1 1/2" from the bottom edge of the card base, over the plaid paper. 5. Using foam tape, mount the white stamped circle onto the green circle. Mount this onto the card front about 1/2" from the top edge of the card base.(this should overlap a bit onto the white strip with the greeting. 6. Using Multi Medium Matte, add sequins as desired to finish off the card.

Clipthebirdoffthebranchandcutoffhislowerbeak.Youcanalsotrimhisfeetabit,ifneede. 10.Put painters tape on the back of the bird so it has a sticky side. 11.Using versamark ink,cover the surface of the bird with ink. 12.Pour Sky Blue embossing powder on bird. You can hold bird with tweezers. Melt the embossing
Powder. Let cool. 13.Once cool, swipe the bird with Orange Blossom Archival Ink in several spots. Hold with tweezers
and tape on the craft sheet and melt the ink into the embossing powder again to create a
marbled look. Let cool. 14.Using piercing tool, create a hole for the eye. Add smaller hex brad to create eye. Add pop up to
back of bird for dimension. 15.Cut out Circular shaped die out of Baptista set using kraft paper 16.Distress it with stormy sky and gathered twigs. Cut around edge to finish it. 17.Stamp sentiment on kraft paper and distress with Stormy sky and Gathered Twig. 18.Pierce 2 holes and add 2 brads.Apply Pop up for dimension on back. 19.Assemble front of card and pieces and affix branch to correct position. Trim edges of branch off. 20.Distress edge of blue under layer with Gathered Twig. 21.Assemble cardstock and layers of the card.

Assembly
Fold the card base and attach the black Cut the frame from the purple paper and attach to the black Cut the frames from black (larger) and white (smaller) Stamp the leaves on the white in pistachio Stamp the flowers in grape jelly Stamp the sentiment Mount the white on the black. Pop this and attach to the purple frame Randomly place the pearls on the leaves



Project #5 Wildflowers
Stamp: Sentiment from JustRite Sweet Flowers and Vines Die:
Tim Holtz Sizzix Wildflower Thinlits Avery Elle Double Pierced Rectangle Penny Black Flourish’s and Butterflies
Paper: Sawgrass for base cut 5 x 7.75 (folded in half). This uses a Bar 5 envelope. Watercolor cut 3.50x4.75
Ink:
Watercolor 4.25 x 5.5 for flowers and butterflies Sawgrass for tag .5 x 2.5 Sawgrass for frame
Versafine black for sentiment Distress Ink: Fossilized amber, Wilted Violet, Tumbled Glass, Mowed Lawn Stain: Fossilized amber
Accessories:
Seem binding 24 inches (colored with Fossilized amber stain) Repositionable tape
Cut: Card base, watercolor paper for background, and watercolor flowers and butterflies
Background. With tumbled glass color the background leaving a white edge. Smush the pad on a smooth surface and with a wet water color brush pick up the ink and apply to the paper
Apply adhesive to the frame cut and apply the watercolor background.
Flowers: Cut from the watercolor papers and using repositionable tape on the back secure in place. Color the flowers in the fossilized amber and wilted violet and the stems and leaves with mowed lawn using a distress pad. Gently remove the tape from the back and apply adhesive. Place on the watercolor background. Add the butterflies.
Wrap the ribbon twice around the frame and tie a bow Apply the frame and background paper to the card base
Stamp the sentiment in black and adhere by the ribbon to the card. Butterflies can be colored or left white. Place on the card.

Dimensions: Royal fiber birch cardstock 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" (card base) & 2 3/4 X 4" Plaid patterned paper 4 X 5 1/4" Yellow dotted paper 3 X 4 1/4" Pink patterned paper 3 X 1 1/2" Hearts patterned paper 4" strip of hearts May Arts ribbon 13"
Directions: 1. Using black in, stamp the front and back of the bear onto watercolor paper. Emboss using clear embossing powder. Using a paint brush, color the bears using Distress gathered Twigs and Festive Berries inks and water. Set aside to dry. 2. Die cut a circle out of the yellow dotted paper (centered & 3/8" from the top edge. Mount the pink patterned paper piece onto the bottom of the yellow dotted patterned paper. Adhere the heart strip to the top of the pink patterned paper. Using black ink, stamp the greeting in the lower right hand corner of the pink piece. Add ribbon around the heart strip and tie in a bow on the left hand side. Die cut a circle out of the Royal fiber cardstock (centered & 1/4" from the top edge. * All of the circles on the papers need to line up so it is a good idea to lay the pieces together before cutting. 3. Fold Royal fiber cardstock in half. This is your card base. Mount the plaid patterned paper onto the front of the card base. Die cut the circle out of the card base (centered & 6/8" from the top edge) * When cutting this, make sure that you open your card base up before running it through the die cut machine. The circle sure only be cut out of the front of the card. 4. Create the spinner by working with the Royal fiber cardstock piece. Line this piece up on grid scratch paper(this helps with getting your spinner straight) Add a small strip of scor-tape to the top & bottom of the circle opening. Lay the back side of the bear, wrong side up, in the center of the circle. Add scor-tape to the back of the bear. Lay a length of fishing line down the center of the circle, adhering to the top of the circle, bottom of the circle and to the back of the bear. Adhere the front of the bear onto the back of the bear, right side up. Add more tape to the Royal fiber cardstock and mount the yellow dotted paper on top, lining up the circles. Wrap the fishing line around the back side of cardstock and adhere down using scor-tape. Add more tape and mount onto the card base, lining up the circles.

W1, W3, E43, Y26, YR18 & BG72 (due to the availability of Copic sketch markers, you may need to substitute some colors) Memento tuxedo black ink
Dimensions: All pieces are die cut
Directions: 1. Fold one piece of white cardstock(4 1/4" X 11") in half and die cut so that you leave the fold uncut. This will be your card base. Die cut all the other pieces. 2. Lay the green (hill) cardstock piece flush with the bottom of the white single tag front. This will help you decide where you need to stamp the chicken coop. Remove green cardstock piece then using black ink, stamp the chicken coop. Stamp the two chickens on a piece of white cardstock, color with markers and die cut out. Color the chicken coop scene with markers. 3. Mount the green cardstock hill onto the bottom of the single tag front. Trim off excess cardstock. 4. Using black ink, stamp the greeting on the green cardstock(hill) near the far right hand side. 5. Using foam tape, mount the two chickens in the left hand corner of the green cardstock hill. 6. Mount the white cloud border onto the top of the single tag piece and trim off excess cardstock. 7. Mount one light blue cloud partially off the left hand edge, under the white cloud border. (trim off excess) Using foam tape, mount the second light blue cloud in the upper right hand corner, over the white cloud border.

Mini-Prills: Express-O-Yourself Matte medium adhesive Clear embossing powder WW Wow Seafoam embossing powder
Flowers: optional is to distress the edges with the distress ink. Using the pencil roll the flower petals to the back and roll some to the front.    Layer two large, two medium and one small. Fluff up the petals so the flower has dimension. (You can use the Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Flower Creating kit or other styles to add the dimension. For more information on using this tool watch Youtube: The E-Z way to make Heartfelt Creations enchanted Mums). The other small flower should be folded in half, add adhesive, fold again and ruffle the petals to create a petal flower.
Stamp the Enchanted Mum Bouquet image on the My Minds Eye paper with the Wilted Violet and add clear embossing powder. Heat set. Adhere this to the Royal Fiber Birch cardbase.
Stamp the sentiment on the left side of tag with the Seafoam and mount unto the Royal Fiber strip. Add this to the My Minds Eye about 1/3 up from the bottom edge. Add the large flower. Put adhesive on the flower bud and place on the upper right corner just under the large flower.
Put Matte Medium or other glue adhesive in the flower center and add the Distress Glitter. (this step can be done before the flowers are added to the cardbase)





Project 9

Masculine Stitched Card Supplies:

Directions:
1.    Form card from Kraft card stock 2.    Sponge Ground Espresso along front edges 3.    Ink background stamps with Chipped Sapphire. Place gray card stock onto stamps and
press firmly. Sponge ink around edges. Fasten to card front 4.    Emboss 1” strip of leather paper with Bead Board folder. On back, apply Scor-Tape
along both long edges. Sponge Ground Espresso ink along edges 5.    Die cut leather paper with Geometric Borders (strip with circle holes). Lightly sponge on
Ground Espresso ink. 6.    Stitch twine in zig zag pattern through holes. Knot ends together. 7.    Apply 1/8” Scor-Tape along center back. 8.    Fasten to embossed strip. 9.    Poke hole and insert fluted fastener 10.    Remove backing of Scor-Tape along bottom edge of strip. Fasten to card front. 11.    Stamp greeting on small piece of gray card stock. Apply adhesive to back. Fasten to
card front so bottom edge will be covered by stitched strip. 12.    Remove Scor-Tape backing from top of embossed strip and press in place

Ink:

Versafine Black to stamp Poppy and Sentiment Distress Inks to paint flower
Flowers: Fired brick, Rusty Hinge, Wild Honey, Walnut Stain Leaves: Bundled sage, Peeled Paint Background: Tumbled Glass
Distress Glitter-Brushed Corduroy Paint Brush Twine Hole punch
Adhesive such as Matte Medium
Stamp the Poppy Stamp on Watercolor paper with Black Versafine. With the scrap watercolor paper stamp the large flower. Let dry for a few minutes
Paint the flowers using the Fired Brick, Rusty Hinge and Wild Honey. Walnut Stain is used for the flower center.
HINT: When doing watercolor you can add water to an area and then add your
color.
HINT: When coloring paint one area and then go to another so not working next to a wet area.
HINT: Use two jars of water-one for clean and one for dirty so you are not mixing colors,
Cut the flower painted on the scrap by hand and using 3M dimension tape place over the same flower on the card. Paint the leaves using the Bundled Sage and Peeled Paint. Add the Walnut Stain to the flower center. Add Matte Medium to the center followed by the Distress Glitter
Paint the background area using the Tumbled Glass. If you wet an area and follow with the distress ink you can move the color around.
Wrap the twine around the watercolor paper and tie with a knot. Do not trim yet. Stamp the sentiment, punch a whole and add to the twine before tying a bow.    Adhere to the watercolor image to the cardbase.
