Cornish Heritage Farms came out with the neatest Silhouette Train Stamp Set...it brings you back to a simpler time! Paper used on this card is from BoBunny. The verse You're a Classic is also from a Cornish Heritage Farms set. What a nice card for a guy! (or a girl like me who LOVES trains!)

PEACE * LOVE * JOY

Doreen did this card in traditional fashion to my delight!! There's nothing better than the reds and greens of Christmas. She used Cuttlebug's Winter Trees Embossing folder on white paper and distressed it with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink. The stamp Peace * Love * Joy was stamped with Versafine Olympia Green and is from Penny Black. Paper on the bottom of the card is Christmas Past Collection from Graphic 45.

Warm Winter Wishes

I LOVE the way Doreen put this card together!! The snowman is a Penny Black wood stamp "Happy and Cool" He is colored with Copic Markers. The paper is from Basic Greys Eskimo Kisses line. The striped ribbon from May Arts adds a snappy little touch. Spellbinders Labels Trio was used to cut out a window for the greeting...HOW CUTE IS THAT!

From Our House to Yours

Our new American Crafts paper is the base for this Christmas card. The beautiful country scene is a wood stamp from Penny Black called treescape. The verse from our house to yours is from Amuse. Doreen colored with Copic Markers, and added Prisma Glitter with a glue pen. She then added ribbon and a button (both from American Crafts) Doesn't it make you feel like your driving down that road when you look at it!!

The Bazzill used papers are so rich and colorful. Doreen created this quick, easy (my kind of card) beautiful card.

"Snowflakes fall...stars appear....Christmas angels gather here" is the verse from Amuse that Doreen chose for this card. It is stamped on Spellbinders Double Ended Tags. Elzybells Winter Girl is also from Amuse. She is stamped on a Spellbinders Classic Oval and colored with Copic Markers. The paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Jolly by Golly line. Craft Foil Cards

These cards were made using Craft Foil and Cuttlebug Embossing Folders. They are both so elegant....and quick and easy to top it off!!! To make it even better Kathy put the Craft Foil on sale at 30% off!!!

For the first one Doreen used Silver Craft Foil and Cuttlebug Embossing Folder "Season's Greetings." Bazzill's Embossed Paper was the base of the card and a cute little plaid ribbon was added for the perfect finishing touch.

Red Craft Foil was used for this card with Cuttlebug's

"Candy Cane Stripe" Embossing Folder. The base of the card was embossed with Cuttlebug's

"Holly Ribbon's." The Ovals and Holly are cut from green craft foil (the berries red ) with Spellbinder dies. The beautiful verse is called "World Peace" and is a wood stamp from Penny Black. And best of all the Craft Foil is 30% off!!!

Christmas Blessings

Isn't that the BEST Santa face ever!!! Doreen used Santa Faces & Jingle Bells E-Z Rub on Transfers to make this card. The verse is from Cornish Heritage Farms "Christmas Expressions." This set has some very nice greetings. Spellbinders Ribbon Tag paper was used as well as paper from Graphic 45.

Skater's Pond in Blue

Simple stamping.......just one color of ink......yet very pretty!

I stamped this CHF Thomas Kinkade Skater's Pond with Versafine Majestic Blue on white card stock. I added Stickles Frosted Lace to some of the snow areas. Then I misted it with Tattered Angels Pearl. The shimmer doesn't show much in my photo. I matted it on a shimmery weave paper and then on the blue check by L'il Davis Designs from Fiskars. Three little bows finish it off.

You don't chose your family.

With our new paper (Ancestral Line....Bird Brocade & Remember Moments) and stamp sets (Inspirational Quotes) from TPC Studio, Doreen created this very meaningful card. She popped up the Spellbinders Sunflower (set two) to complete the card. It's one of my favorites!

Paper Lace Ornaments

Hello everyone!
I have some pretty paper lace ornaments to share tonight. We made these in a class I taught at the store tonight. If you're interested in another class, please email or call the store - 507-859-2929.
The basis of each ornament is a lace strip cut with Spellbinders Lace Border die.
We used the center die from the Contemporary Hearts Pendants die set for the center on the ornament above. A little Stickles glitter glue really sets it off! ( My photo doesn't show all the Stardust glitter glue added to the stars in the lace border.)
The 2nd ornament has a stamped image from JustRite's "A Merry Little Christmas" set.
Once the ornament is assembled, there are endless possibilities for the center.
Enjoy!
Supplies:
Spellbinders Lace Border, Contemporary Hearts, Circles and Scallop Circles
White 12x12 cardstock
Glue, my favorite "The Ultimate"

Fall Workshop Photos

Thanks to everyone who came to the Workshop!!!

We had great fun! Heard lots of good comments!

I managed to snap a few photos on my lunch break. My apologies to any demonstrators or workers that I didn't catch in a photo!

Here's most of our of demonstrators..........

Dianne, Faith, Linnea, Deb, Shannon H, Jodi, Robbie, Robyn, Mary Jo, Shannon B Sally, Judy M, Judy H

Not in the group photo: Kathy, Doreen, Mary, Nicole, Gabby, Tina

Judy M, Kathy's sister-in-law, runs the "store" at the Community Center. She does a fabulous job! It's her twice a year job!

Shannon H helps a stamper with the Medallion Wedding Card.

Robyn has a big grin as she overlooks her table of stampers making the Fall Pumpkins card.

This is Mary Jo who created and taught the Peony Card.

Robbie gives personal help to 2 stampers making the Serendipity Barn Card.

Doreen helps at the table where stampers created the CHF Snowman Believe card.

Lunch time......
The high school senior class served hot chicken sanwiches, chips, soups, veggies, bars and beverages as a fund raiser for their class trip.

Shannon B takes a break for lunch. She helped with the Halloween Card.

Linnea works with stampers creating the Grungepaper Birthday Flower card.....lots of steps to that card. And messy, too!

Deb watches over 2 stampers who work on the Fall Leaves card.

Smiles from Dianne as she helps with the Crafty Secrets Holiday Postcards! This was a popular table.

.......the table of door prizes! At this point, some had already been given out.

In the background (right corner) are Faith (peach shirt) and Gabby(white top). Gabby helped with running supplies from FM store to the Community center and from table to table. Faith taught one of the projects. (I didn't catch her at her table in any other photo.)

Gotcha, Doreen!!!!

Since Kathy was busy at the real Fond Memories store all day.....I caught her after the workshop while she and Doreen worked at the checkout counter.
