               Penny Black Flower Card

Supplies:

Dimensions:
Saw Grass cardstock- scalloped die cut
Cougar Natural cardstock- 8 ½”x5 ½”, 4 ¼”x 5 ½” & 3 ¼” x4 ½”
Directions:
1.     Fold natural card base in half. Emboss the natural 4 ¼”x5 ½” paper piece using the latticework embossing folder. Mount this onto the cardstock base.
2.     Using the distress inks, ink the PB flower stamp. Spritz with water and stamp down onto the 3 ¼”x 4 ½” natural paper piece. Allow to dry or use a neat gun to dry inks.
3.     Using black ink, stamp the greeting in the lower left hand corner, overlapping the flower. Mount this stamped piece onto the die cut scalloped piece. Using foam tape, mount the stamped & die cut scalloped piece onto the center of the card base (over the embossing piece).
4.     Add Tea Rose ink onto the mini mat butterfly. Sprinkle with Tea Rose embossing powder and heat to emboss. Allow to cool. Repeat if necessary. Using Matte Medium, mount the butterfly to the upper left hand corner, above the flower.


    



Project #2
               Brushstrokes Card



Supplies:

     Distress ink pads- Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean & Antique Linen
     Memento- Tuxedo Black
Stamps:
     Mini Motivation & Brushstrokes by Stampers Anonymous
Dina Wakley Gilt acrylic paint
YG01 Copic marker
Paint brushes
Cream colored string
Foam tape
Tim Holtz distress sprayer
Craft mat
Dimensions:
(Gray)Ash paper- 4 ¼”x 11”
(Green) Granny Smith paper- 4”x 5 ¼
Natural White paper- 3 ¾”x 5” & 2 7/8”x 1”
(Pink) Watermelon Sensation paper- 3”x 1 1/8”
Directions:
1.      Fold gray paper in half to make an A2 card. Mount green paper on top of gray card base.
2.      Using black ink, stamp the brushstroke circles randomly three times onto the natural paper piece.
3.      Put down some Picked Raspberry distress ink onto the craft mat and spritz with water. Using a small paint brush, splatter the ink over the brushstroke circles. Repeat this process with all the Distress inks and the Gilt paint. (add water to the paint to thin it down)  Add Antique Linen distress using mini applicator, onto the stamped and splattered paper piece. Allow to dry.
4.      Stamp the Mini Motivation greeting onto the natural paper strip using black ink. Color in the words MISTAKES & ART using the YG01 Copic marker. Distress with Antique Linen.
5.      Wrap three pieces of the cream string around the stamped and splattered paper piece and tie in a knot on the right hand edge.
6.      Mount the greeting onto the pink mat. Using foam tape, mount onto the card, over the string on the left hand edge about 1” from the bottom. Mount this entire piece onto the green mat to finish the card.

                Purse Magnet

Directions:
1.     Color one blossom using the Copic marker.
2.     Cut out the yellow patterned paper using the template provided and mount this onto the purse base using Zip Dry.
3.     Mount one purse shaker outline chipboard pieces on top of the purse base. Using black ink, stamp the sentiment in the upper left hand corner of the yellow paper. Add clear embossing powder and heat emboss. Add another purse outline piece on top of this.
4.     Using Matte Medium, mount three different sequins down randomly onto the yellow paper. Add one small spoon full of mixed sequins in the shaker. Remove the coating from both sides of the clear plastic piece and mount down to seal the sequins in the shaker.
5.     Mount the flowered paper onto the top purse outline piece. Trim around with a scissors and/or Exacto knife. Then sand off excess paper using the sanding tool provided. This will make a nice and neat finish to your project. Mount this last layer onto the purse.
6.     Tie ribbon in a bow around the handle on the right hand side of the purse handle.
7.     Add the yellow flower to the center of the bow using a glue dot.
8.     Adhere the magnet material onto the back side of the purse.

















Project #4.   
                Taylored Expressions Sympathy

SUPPLIES

Paper:
            White card base 8.5 x 5.5. (Score at 4.25 for A2 card-4.25 x 5.5)
            White 5 x 5.25 to emboss
            Blue 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 to mount embossed piece on. 
            2 inch x 4 inch white and blue
            Blue paper 2 ¾ x 3 ¾ for the cross
Inks:
            Distress Oxide:  Broken China, Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint
Clear Embossing Powder
Spray Bottle
Foam Tape
Sponge daubers

DIRECTIONS:
1.     Emboss the white paper with the Redeemer Embossing Folder.  The next step uses the Distress Oxide inks to color the embossed paper.  Starting at the upper left corner distress using the Broken China.  Repeat this color in the lower right corner.  Add a small amount of the Peeled Paint to the right of the blue,  followed by a large section of Fossilized Amber.  When completed spritz lightly.
2.     Stamp the cross on the blue paper using the Distress Oxide Broken China  and then clear emboss.  When this completed cut the cross out using the My Redeemer Lives  corresponding die.  Using foam tape mount the cross on the embossed panel. 
3.     Assemble the card mounting the embossed panel on the blue paper and then on the card base.
4.     Cut the Prayer Script out of the blue and white.  Overlay and off set the blue over the white.  Put tape over the a and y and foam tape on the p and s.  Attach this to the card.

               Penny Black  Mommy and Me Owls

SUPPLIES

Penny Black Stencil:

Paper:
            White card base 8.5 x 5.5 (score at 4.25 for A2—4.25 x 5.5)
            Green (Easter Grass) 4.25 5.25
            Yellow and White for the words and small owl
            Dark Green for the Graceful Greenery.   Cut two
            1.25 inch square Pistachio for the stomach
            scraps for the eyes
            Kraft for the owl and branch
Ink:
            Gathered Twigs to distress the owls
TomBow markers:  orange, brown and black
Heat Gun
Versamark ink pad
1.      Using the versamark ink pad stamp the stencil onto the light green.  Heat set. Mount this on to the card base.
2.     Color the branch brown and the leaf/flower orange.  Adhere in the center to the light green
3.     Attach the yellow Just for you to the white so it is off set and adhere to the light green paper on the bottom one third of the card.
4.     Attach the Graceul Greenery one above the branch to the center and the other below to the left of the Just for You.
5.     Distress with Gathered Twigs the edges of both owls. 
6.     Using black to color the eyes of the owls.  Add scrap white to the eyes of both and color the nose orange.  Add the red to the large owl and trim
7.     Adhere the owls to the branch.

                     Art  Impressions Z FOLD CARD

SUPPLIES

Stamp:  Art Impressions “Latte Love”

Embossing Folder:  Sizzix Textured Fades “On the Go”

Paper:
            Green-Sweet Basil. 5.5 x 8.5.  Score at 2 1/8 and 4.25
            Kraft 4 x 5.25
            Kraft 1.5 x 8.5. Score at 4.25 and 2 1/8
            White 3.75 square for stamped image
            Mulled Wine cut 3 7/8 square to mount stamped image on.

Copic Markers:  R20, R89, RV34, RV34, C1, C5, E00, E33, E35, YG93

Ink: 
Memento Tuxedo Black
Distress Ink Gathered Twigs

1.      Fold the card base at the 4.25.  Follow this by folding the portion scored at 2 1/8 to the left side of card.  Run this through the embossing folder.
2.     Emboss the Kraft piece and distress lightly with the Gathered Twigs
3.     Distress the edges of the 1.5 strip.  On the right side 2 1/8 section stamp the sentiment
4.     Assemble the Kraft unto the card base.  Add the strip so the folds are opposite of the card base.
5.     Color the ladies with Copic Markers and mount onto the Mulled Wine.  Adhere this to the left flap.
6.     When the card is opened it should form a Z fold.









PROJECT #7  
                     Waffle Flower Stitched Roses

            Card base:  Yellow  4.75 x 7.  Score at 3.5
            Pink and Green: 3 x 4
            White:  2.25 x 3.5
Ink:  Light, Medium and Dark Pink.  Green for leaves
Versamark ink pad
Clear embossing powder
Kaiser or Hero Arts Pearls
Rick Rack cut to 5.5 inches
Stamp Press
Vellum to help align the stamps
Heat gun

Post date is 3/17/2017.  This stamp set does take a little more work in aligning the layers, but by watching the video it is easier to understand.  OR another video is from the simonsaystampblog.com.  The post if from 3/22/2017 and titled “Yippee for Yana”.

1.      Fold the card base and cut the green and pink papers using the Waffle Flower Die.  HINT:  when cutting a die use wax paper so the paper will release easier from the die.
2.     Using a stamp press makes this card easier to work with.  Stamp the larger stamp (B1)  in dark pink.  Repeat this by stamping with Versamark and then clear emboss.
3.     Stamp the middle stamp (B2) in the medium pink and then B3 in a light pink.
4.     Stamp the leaves in green
5.     The last stamp is the greeting which is done in the medium pink.
6.     Mount the stamped image on the green and adhere to the card base.  Add the pink edging and the rick rack.  Trim the rick rack to the edge of the card.

               Penny Black  Beautiful Ride Card

Supplies:
Penny Black Stately stamp (tree)

Cardstock – Balsa, Black

Directions:
1. Place mask over Balsa cardstock to create slope of land. Apply Vintage Photo ink with applicator
2. Ink leaves on tree stamp with Distress Oxide Peeled Paint ink.  Apply Distress Ground Espresso ink to tree trunk.  Mist lightly with water.  Stamp so tree is off edge of paper.  Mist paper
3. Use corner rounder to cut top right corner
4. Use applicator to apply Distress Vintage Photo ink around edges
5. Ink Script stamp with Vintage Photo and lightly stamp along edges.  (For darker script, use Ground Espresso ink)
6. Stamp verse with Versafine Onyx Black ink
7. Use corner rounder to cut top right corner on black card - 4¼ x 5½ʺ
8. Fasten tree and verse piece to card front.
9.  Glue bicycle to card
9. Use Copic marker to color clip black. Allow to dry
10 Fasten clip and folded ribbon to card top
11. Fasten cream paper inside card






Project # 9 
                 Gel Press Print Card


    
Supplies:
Gel Press 5 x 7 Plate
Ranger Dina Wakley Paint – Turquoise, Lime, White
Penny Black Birthday Love Transparent Stamp Set

Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink
Bazzill Patina cardstock
White Cardstock
Brayer
Directions:
1. Brayer light coat of white paint on Gel Press
2. Add 3-5 dots (size of chocolate chip) of Turquoise paint at diagonal opposite corners of Gel Press; add 2 dots of Lime paint near center of plate
3. Brayer paint over plate (Don’t over mix!)
4. Place stencil on Gel Press, brayer over it
Following 2 steps need to be done quickly so that paint doesn’t dry before printing:
5. Remove stencil.   Lay it on scrap paper.  Place piece of cardstock over it.  Roll brayer over paper.
6. Place cardstock on Gel Press.  Roll brayer over paper.  Lift paper to reveal print.  Use heat gun to speed drying
Card 1:
7. Cut print to 3¼ x6ʺ
8. Stamp verse with Archival Jet Black ink over print
9. Fasten to front of white card - 3½ x 6¼ʺ
Card 2:
1. Cut stencil print to 3¼ x 6ʺ
2. Wrap ribbon across print and fasten in back
2. Fasten to Patina card - 3½ x 6ʺ
3. Stamp verse on white cardstock – 2 x 3⅛ʺ
4. Fasten to Patina mat - 2¼ x 3⅜ʺ
5. Fasten on card front with Thin 3D Foam Squares or foam tape

Directions:
1. Ink Wood Floor stamp with Black soot.  Stamp on front of gray card (4½ x 6ʺ)
2. Use Fantastix to apply Fired Brick ink randomly on stamped wood floor image
3. Wrap navy twine horizontally and knot to right side
4. Stamp rooster on Fig card stock:
     Solid rooster – Butter Bar
     Feathers – Pumpkin Pie
    Accent feathers – Red Royal
    Feet/legs – Butter Bar
    Feet/Legs accent – Red Royal
