This poor little fireman had quite a flame to put out!! He comes from a set called Birthday surprise from Cornish Heritage. Doreen chose birthday paper from Bo Bunny and accented it with paper from Bazzill. The ribbon is from Amuse, coloring was done with Copic Markers and Spellbinders Circles were used for the cut. Isn't that just adorable!

Congratulations Graduate
I'm always amazed at how fast the school year flies by (that is since I got out!) It's time to get those graduations cards started. Doreen made this one with a Cornish Heritage Scrapblock (6" x 6" rubber stamp) called "Life" She simply stamped down the part of the stamp that she wanted to show on white then mounted it onto a red sheet of Bazzill. She popped up the Hero Arts "Congratulations Graduate" verse and added the stamped and cut out diploma by Amuse. What an eye catcing card!

Turtle Sled
Look how much fun that little mouse is having! I think the turtle is enjoying the ride as well! I'm guessing Doreen even giggled while putting this one together. She used paper from Graphic 45's Christmas Past Collection & Cornish Heritage's Turtle Sled Stamp. Coloring was done with Copic Markers. The verse "Wishing you a flurry of fun" is from Amuse.

Christmas Blessings
Skater's Pond in Blue
I stamped this CHF Thomas Kinkade Skater's Pond with Versafine Majestic Blue on white card stock. I added Stickles Frosted Lace to some of the snow areas. Then I misted it with Tattered Angels Pearl. The shimmer doesn't show much in my photo. I matted it on a shimmery weave paper and then on the blue check by L'il Davis Designs from Fiskars. Three little bows finish it off.

On the Prairie
Greetings Fond Memories fans!

It's been awhile since I've written here. Looking back, I can't exactly say what took all my time. I know I had a couple weekends spent with family........a very good reason not to have time to blog! Today, I had a chance to take some photos at the store. With luck, I'll get them all loaded tonight so there will be new posts for the rest of this week. Yeah!!!
To start off, here's a couple cards featuring stamps from a Cornish Heritage Farms set called "The Homestead". We love this set because it so depicts pieces of scenery that seem to be snatched from the countryside surrounding Walnut Grove. The little girl could easily be Laura Ingalls as she walked to or from school. Can you just imagine it?
This card was created by Mary Jo......

....and Doreen created this one.

Be sure to check back soon as I'll have photos of new papers and new embossing folders from QuicKutz.
Happy Day!

Spring Workshop Card 2

Dianne created this card using another Thomas Kinkade stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms. The dimension on the little flowers showcases a new product at Fond Memories, Flower Soft. This product is so easy to add to any design, a little bit of glue & sprinkle on the Flower Soft.
Just imagine the possibilities!

Tulip with Butterflies
What a pretty, fresh card for Spring!

- created by Mary Jo -

The tulip stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms. Spellbinders dies were used for the scalloped edge on the tulip image and the green mat, "thinking of you" oval and the butterflies. The butterflies are cut from vellum....so pretty & delicate.A nice fresh, spring card to pull us out of the winter doldrums!
Enjoy!

Happiness
Here's a card made with the Cornish Heritage Farms January Stamp of the Month. I stamped it with Memento Bamboo Leaves & colored the flowers with Copic markers. I added a little Antique Linen Distress ink around the edges. The scalloped edge mat is vellum punched with a Fiskars punch. I added some piercing to make it look more like lace. The little ribbon is silk which makes such soft bows.

Happy Birthday Dad!

I created this card for my father for his 76th birthday. Not your typical birthday card but my father is very proud to be an American veteran. So this was perfect for him.
I stamped Thomas Kinkade's Hometown Pride stamp using Versafine black ink onto white paper. Then I colored the flag using Faded Jeans and Fired Brick Distress inks. I sponged on black ink around the edges and mounted this onto a piece of black card stock. I ran a piece of red Core'dinations paper through the Cuttlebug using the Argyle embossing folder. The blue mat is also Core'dinations paper with distressed edges.
A BIG THANKS to all of you veterans out there!!
